Victor Vazquez has over 30 years of strategy consulting to leading corporations in capital intensive industries: Oil and Gas, Electric Power (fossil fuels and renewables), Steel, and Aluminum. Founded Palogrande Casa de Bolsa in 2007; currently board member. Worked with Strategic Decisions Group -SDG (Palo Alto, CA, USA) and Arthur D. Little -ADL (Acorn Park, MA, USA). Cofounded the professional groups VE Energy Future and Guayana’s Future.

Victor holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA, and the Advanced Decision Analysis Diploma (by Stanford University’s Professor Ron Howard). He is a frequent speaker in professional conferences and serves on several advisory boards. Member of VAPA and SDP.

Lino Carrillo

Co- Founder, Venezuelan American Petroleum Association

Lino Carrillo has over 40 years of professional and executive experience in the oil industry in Venezuela and Canada, with emphasis in the downstream divisions, corporate planning, capital project execution and new business development. Cofounded the professional group of VE Energy Future.

Lino holds a BSc and MSc in chemical engineering from the University of Oklahoma. Member of VAPA and invited professor at IESA in the oil and gas and petrochemical management diplomas. Member of VAPA

Tyrone Perdomo

President, Venezuelan American Petroleum Association; President, Syn Oil-Chem LLC

Tyrone Perdomo has over 40 years of experience in downstream sector of the Oil and Gas industry. This includes an active participation in areas of Supply and Trading. He was responsible for PDVSA Heavy and extra Heavy crude sales in the United States and Europe. Sales of products in the United States, Caribbean, Central and South America.

Tyrone holds a BSc in Chemical Engineer, Universidad Central de Venezuela; a MSc in Petrochemical Processes Universidad Central de Venezuela; a MSc in Advanced Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester, Manchester, England. Mr. Perdomo is the President of Syn Oil-Chem LLC, a Consulting Company registered in Texas in 2003 and President of VAPA.

Carlos E. Sanchez

Venezuelan American Petroleum Association; Independent Oil & Gas Consultant

Carlos E. Sanchez has over 50 years of diversified experience in Hydrocarbon Exploration in North and South America, E & P business development and small energy companies’ startups. Since 2016 became an Independent Oil & Gas Consultant and has provide his expertise to local consultant firms and South American oil companies. During 31 years of his career was part of the Venezuelan Oil Industry, where his professional growth went from technical to management and high executive positions.

Carlos holds a BSc in Geological Engineering from University of Oklahoma and during his professional development has attend technical and executive training in highly qualified Universities and Institutes in USA, Europe and South America. Cofounder of VAPA and presently he is a member their Advisory Council.

Marianna Boza

Head O&G and Mining Practice, Brigard Urrutia

Marianna Boza is a transnational attorney authorized to practice in Venezuela and Colombia. She is a Director at Brigard Urrutia and is Head of Mining and O&G. In her capacity, Marianna advises clients around the world on the operations and corporate transactions of upstream, midstream, or downstream energy companies.  She has substantial experience advising companies in the oil & gas and petrochemical sectors. She has been involved in major upstream, midstream, and downstream projects in Latin America, advising in the negotiation and drafting of the relevant contracts. Marianna has advised clients in the negotiation, creation, and financing of joint ventures for the development of hydrocarbons and petrochemical activities and the processing of gas in Venezuela and Colombia.

Marianna was the senior legal counsel at Shell Venezuela, actively participating in the downstream business to produce oil by-products. Additionally, she was an in-house attorney in secondment for the legal department of Repsol and ChevronTexaco in Venezuela, where she provided business-focused advice and gained on-site experience.

Marianna actively participates in several binational chambers of commerce and associations of industry and trade; she is currently the vice president of the Board of Directors of the Colombian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce and the director of the Extractive Committee of the Colombian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce.  Marianna is also a member of the Latin America Regional Executive Committee Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN).
