Christopher Russo, Vice President, Co-Practice Leader of Energy, Charles River Associates
Moderator: Frederic Sourgens, Director - Tulane Center for Energy Law, Tulane University Law School

The discussion begins by laying the technical groundwork, covering nuclear fission and fusion, reactor types, safety protocols, regulatory frameworks, and the nuclear fuel cycle. In addition, our speakers discuss the role of model contracting in the nuclear industry, addressing in particular long-term contracts for financial stability, risk management, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement in both the traditional and SMR context.

In this webinar, you will be provided with valuable insights into the current and future state of nuclear contracting, emphasizing the need for adaptable frameworks to support the industry's growth and success. Our experts will further address standardized contract templates, innovative financing models, technology transfer agreements, and regulatory harmonization to support SMR deployment.
