Nuno Antunes, is a co-head of the ‘Energy and Natural Resources’ department. Nuno’s primary focus is on the energy sector, notably upstream oil and gas, LNG, gas/LNG-to-power, power, renewables, and energy transition (Hydrogen, CCUS). Nuno provides legal advice to IOCs and State entities, on international, constitutional, regulatory, contractual, tax, M&A, project structuring, environmental, ESG and dispute resolution matters.

He is currently the lead of the recently established AIEN Hydrogen Taskforce. He is a member of the International Bar Association’s Oil and Gas Law and Power Law Committees, former petroleum legal advisor to the Prime Minister of Timor-Leste, law of the sea specialist, and a member of the list of arbitrators of the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.

Nuno earned a PhD (International Law) and MA (International Boundaries) from the University of Durham (UK). He is also a guest Professor at the Catholic University (Lisbon, Portugal).

Zoë Bromage, is an energy partner in King & Spalding’s Singapore office. Her practice focuses on cross-border transactions, project development and first-of-their-kind projects in the energy sector.

Zoë represents clients from the full spectrum of the energy industry throughout Asia and globally on structuring and developing projects in the traditional oil, gas and LNG sectors, as well as the new energies sectors of hydrogen and its derivatives, carbon capture, battery storage and renewables. She also has extensive experience assisting clients on merger and acquisition activity ranging from smaller scale farmouts to high value / multi-jurisdictional corporate and asset transactions in the energy sector.

Zoë has been recognized by Legal500 as a Rising Star in Projects and Energy. She has practiced in Singapore, London and Aberdeen and has experience working in-house, having spent 9 months at Premier Oil’s (now Harbour Energy) headquarters in London.

Drake Hernandez, is an associate principal in CRA’s global energy disputes and regulatory segment within the firm’s Energy Practice. He also leads CRA’s hydrogen and low-carbon fuels offering within the Energy Practice.

Mr. Hernandez’s commercial advisory work focuses on advising global clients as they develop corporate and investment strategies related to energy market economics and infrastructure development with a particular focus on the hydrogen and low-carbon fuels sectors. He has been engaged by corporations and investors on matters pertaining to project commercialization, strategic and techno-economic due diligence, and regulatory issues within the sectors.

His dispute resolution experience spans assessment of liability and quantum of damages in commercial litigation and international arbitration matters related to energy projects and infrastructure. Drake has significant experience in disputes in the natural gas, electric power, LNG, and oil sectors.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Hernandez was a graduate research assistant at the MIT Energy Initiative (MITEI). He was a co-author of the MITEI Future of Storage study and the architect of the hydrogen production techno-economic analysis (TEA) module of the Sustainable Energy Systems Modeling Analysis Environment (SESAME). His thesis focused on modeling hydrogen network dynamics and assessing federal regulatory frameworks for the development of interstate hydrogen transmission infrastructure within the United States.

His work has been published in Applied Energy, the Energy Law Journal, Utility Dive, and other commercial and academic journals. He regularly speaks both domestically and internationally on matters related to the regulation of hydrogen infrastructure, hydrogen market development, and energy system planning.

Mr. Hernandez holds an MS in Technology and Policy, with a focus on energy economics and finance, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on operations research and economics, from the University of Texas at Austin.

Gonzalo Cabrera, is an accomplished Hydrogen and LNG Marketing executive with 20+ years of experience with energy super-majors delivering commercial viability in geographically disparate environments.

In 2010, Gonzalo became a member of the Association of International Energy Negotiators. Presently, he holds the position of Co-Chair for the Hydrogen Joint Development and Operating Agreement Drafting Committee (Hydrogen Taskforce), where he is crafting the next generation of commercial agreements needed for the development of the hydrogen economy and advice boards and CEOs on transformational deals through his own consulting practice. Since 2021, Gonzalo stepped into senior advisory roles at the Club of Engineers of South Africa on topics related to hydrogen and LNG projects assessment whereas until recently, he was the Honorary Representative of Buenos Aires City Government in Singapore, forming relationships with Government and investors across innovation, sustainable energy and climate change.

Previously, as General Manager (2016 to 2020) and Head of Portfolio (2009 to 2015), Gonzalo leveraged his background to lead the start-up of Mozambique LNG’s Singapore commercial office and Qatargas worldwide LNG marketing efforts.

Prior to this, in 2006 Gonzalo was promoted to Risk Manager with Eni UK Limited, reviewing trading activities, P&L developments and risk, expanding the client portfolio with an enhanced risk profile.

Gonzalo offers a solid foundation on senior advisory roles, having been Committee Chair/Member for Gas (Eni UK Ltd.), Marketing & Shipping (Mozambique LNG), Co-Chair/Council Member – Study Group for the International Gas Union and speaker at various international energy conferences.

Fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish, Gonzalo holds an MBA from Eni Corporate University Italy and a Bachelor of Science (Industrial Engineering) from the University of Buenos Aires.
